I Know Who Killed Me/YMMV

  • Fridge Logic: Meta-example: Why have a picture of Ali Lohan when there's enough pictures of Lindsay at about the same age?
    • Neither Dakota nor anyone tries to compare scars, moles, etc. that Aubrey had with Dakota, which would have alerted everyone to the twin concept pretty quick.
  • Fridge Brilliance: Foolishly averted. Deleted materials were to show that the entire plot was merely a fiction piece written by Aubrey as a project, which would have handily explained the numerous plot holes, stupid contrivances and pointless symbolism littered about the film.
    • An actual example is related to an often quoted apparent plot hole: Why doesn't Dakota tell the cops to call the strip club where she works to confirm her identity? Since she is Aubrey's twin, that means she is underage, therefore the club owner would most likely go along with the "That woman's crazy" theory if the police interrogated her.
    • Better yet, the police could have checked to see if a woman named Virginia Sue Moss died around the time Dakota said she did, or could have checked out Dakota's apartment. But that would be too easy.
      • And again, it could have all been hand waved away if they'd just kept the "well, a kid wrote it" concept.
  • High Octane Nightmare Fuel / Nausea Fuel: The torture scenes are pretty horrifying, but the dry ice scene is definitely the most frightening and nauseating.
