House of Frankenstein (film)/YMMV

• Complete Monster: Doctor Niemann, a Mad Scientist in proper Frankensteininian mode save that he completely lacks any of the decency the actual Frankensteins proper have displayed.
• Jerkass Woobie: Poor Daniel. He's a strangling murderer, but in the end he's been betrayed by everyone he helped. And typically for very shallow or selfish reasons.
• Tear Jerker: Universal keeps up its fine tradition of tragic monsters with poor Daniel, a handsome hunchback who commits murders to help Doctor Niemann and who saves Ilonka from a savage beating, and who is betrayed in the end by both of them before turning on his master and being hurled to his death by the Frankenstein Monster.
