Holiday Special
A mostly-American phenomenon: any one-off or other special television production created solely to air on or around a holiday, with the intent of celebrating or "explaining" the holiday. The accuracy of such works is subject to both Did Not Do the Research and They Just Didn't Care, and at worst a special about an ostensibly religious holiday can end up being the Theme Park Version.
