• Upon meeting a new deaf-mute kid at her school, the titular Magical Girl Akko-chan brashly wishes on herself the very same ailment, hoping to get some quick insight on his condition. When, later during the same day, she starts to reconsider her wish, the Spirit of the mirror telepathically points out that, due to Akko-chan having asked to be "a deaf-mute" and not merely deaf, she took the liberty to make Akko-chan a non-verbal deaf girl, thus unable to enunciate her wish at all. Until the Reset Button is struck, Akko-chan is not pleased...
