- Gon helps a trio of wolf cubs get their revenge against a Siberian tiger for the death of their mother and sibling. Gon pays his respects for both by howling alongside the cubs. Once Gon and the cubs overwhelm the tiger and drive him off a cliff, Gon and the cubs wander the frozen tundra, where the three emerge as full fledged wolves. Awesome.
- The story ends on a bittersweet note, with Gon and the wolves splitting up and going their separate ways, the wolves being able to fend for themselves, and Gon heading off to continue Walking the Earth.
