• Funny Moments: In one Sesame Street story, The Count is supposed to count his bats, though his performer was unavailable, so they had the bats themselves do the counting instead.
• Memetic Mutation: In recent years, the Golden Book Videos have become an ample source for several YouTube Poops, including most popularly, Big Bird Brings Death to Sesame Street.
• Nightmare Fuel: Some of the early video take this to the extreme by making scenes more intense or dramatic, such as the adaptation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Richard Scarry version) and What Was That! Not to mention the ominous closing logo seen on some of the earlier videos, involving a comet collision in outer space!
