From Dusk till Dawn/YMMV

  • Complete Monster - Richard Gecko. And, obviously, the vampires.
  • Ear Worm - The theme song will drain your brain and will cause you to hum "Miss Satanico Pandemonium..."
  • Everybody Remembers the Stripper: Although Salma Hayek didn't show any naughty bits, her devilishly hot erotic dance is remembered by pretty much everyone who's seen the movie.
  • Evil Is Sexy - Satanico Pandemonium played by Salma Hayek of course!
  • Hell Is That Noise: If you listen very closely during the sequence in which Frost is telling and miming the story of how he single-handedly slaughtered an entire Viet Cong unit after pretending to be a corpse, you can hear Jimi Hendrix's "acid-rock" version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" playing very softly (and eerily) on the soundtrack. Combined with the now-vampiric Sex Machine (he was unwittingly bitten by Richie in an earlier scene) slowly succumbing to his demons and hearing evil voices hiss "Kill them all!" in his head, the effect is quite surreal and frightening.
  • High Octane Nightmare Fuel - Seth leaves Richard alone with hostage. Seth returns and witnesses result.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight - In 1992, Juliette Lewis, who plays a (reluctant) vampire slayer here, beat out Kristy Swanson for a role in Woody Allen's Husbands And Wives. Later that year, Swanson would star in another movie about....well....
  • It Was His Sled - The Halfway Plot Switch.
  • Moment of Awesome - Nearly everyone gets one.
  • Tear Jerker - Jacob telling Kate and Scott that he has been bitten and will turn into a vampire eventually....but also that until he does, he will help them.
