Freedom
Freedom is a 2010 novel by Jonathan Franzen. It tells the story of Patty and Walter Berglund, the parents of a liberal, nuclear Midwestern family that appears to be happy and normal... until their teenaged son, Joey, decides to move out of their home and in with the Republican neighbors.
