Basic Trope: A character imitates a gun with his hand

• Straight: Bob uses his hand to mimic a gun
• Exaggerated:
  • Bob uses his Finger Gun almost exactly like one would use a real gun, way beyond blowing on the "barrel" and Gun Twirling
  • Alternatively, mind bullets. Well, if fired from a Finger Gun.
• Justified: Bob does it behind his coat to make look like it's a real gun that he's presumably hiding so other people don't notice.
• Inverted: Arm Cannon is used to mimic a hand.
• Subverted: Bob's "gun" actually fires
• Double Subverted: Bait and Switch Gunshot
• Parodied: Apart from the Finger Gun, there's also imaginary bows and arrows, throwing knives, and bazookas
• Deconstructed: Bob's playful attitude towards guns leads to disaster when he gets his hands on a real one.
• Reconstructed: Bob is told that the gun is not a toy, and he learns to use it responsibly, while still using a finger gun playfully.
• Zig Zagged: Bob realizes the futility of using a Finger Gun, switching instead to his trusty Finger Sword.
• Averted: Bob makes a finger gun but uses it to make the letter "L".
• Enforced: Bob suffered a traumatic hand injury in a plane crash in the wilderness; because it went untreated for a long time the joints fused in that position. He was sensitive about it for a while, but he learned to adapt.
