Fat Princess/YMMV
- Crosses the Line Twice: Fat jokes? Sorta funny. Fat jokes and over-the-top cartoon violence to the tune of Baby Got Back? Double funny.
- No Such Thing as Bad Publicity: The game got a lot more publicity when the feminist blogosphere started attacking it not long after it was announced. This only served to promote the game more.
- Unfortunate Implications: Some feminists protested this game due to perceptions it was making fun of overweight people. The Real Song Theme Tune mentioned above probably doesn't help. Defenders of the game pointed out that the soldiers still want their Princess, no matter how fat she got.
- That's probably more of a Take That than anything else.
- However, the game's (female) artistic lead enjoys taking normally unattractive things and showing that they're not necessarily so - she used to make a web comic about an adorable Tauren, and made Fat Princess to show that fat girls could be cute.
- And few of the people behind the angry response to the angry response bothered to find out what exactly the feminists were actually objecting to, but simply made up their own version of what the complaints might be and then responded to that.
