Etrian Odyssey/Trivia
- Fan Nickname: FOE stands for "Field-On Enemy" in the Japanese versions, and for whatever reason, Formido Oppugnatura Exsequens, which is Latin for "nature's ancient and terrible warriors" in America. Given their ridiculous power, fans have come up with their own interpretations, including "Freakishly Overpowered Encounter" and "Ferocious Orange Enemy". Not only that, but many fans believe that FOE stands for "Foedus Obrepit Errabundus", Latin for "the vile, wandering one sneaks up" because of the name of the FOE battle music in Etrian Odyssey.
- Ragelopes, the very first FOEs in Etrian Odyssey and players' introduction to the concept, are better known as Rapelopes.
- Name's the Same: The name of the Landsknecht's Volt-elemented Chaser skill brings to mind a certain organization with plans for world domination.
