Basic Trope: A race so long that just covering the distance is considered an accomplishment.
- Straight: Alice and Bob are entrants in a fifty-mile footrace.
- Exaggerated: Alice and Bob are entrants in a five-hundred-mile footrace.
- Downplayed: Alice and Bob are entrants in a marathon.
