El Cazador de la Bruja/YMMV

  • Alas, Poor Villain: L.A.
  • Better on DVD: If you buy the DVD you get to see Ellis' naked rear, twice.
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The ending of El Cazador de la Bruja, with Nadie and Ellis on the road again. No, sir, no Mind Screw in this one.
    • In episode 23, Ellis tries to leave Nadie fearing that she's going to end up hurting Nadie by staying with her. Near the end of the episode, Nadie catches up to Ellis and grabs her saying that she won't let go. Nadie then hugs her and a gives a speech where she vows to protect Ellis and not let her face painful events alone. Ellis smiles, tears up, and accepts Nadie's partnership with an enthusiastic "Yes, sir!".
      • Right before that, Ellis buying tacos for L.A and herself.
  • Crowning Music of Awesome: Pretty much all of it, but especially "Cazador del Amor" and "I Reach For The Sun".
  • Yuki Kajiura puts out some nice motifs for this one. Maxwell's Witch for the magic and mayhem of Ellis suits nicely.
  • Ear Worm: Taco, taco, tacos, super tasty tacos too...
  • Magnificent Bastard: Rosenberg
  • Moe: Ellis and Lirio, arguably Nadie as well.
  • Tear Jerker: Episode 25, when Nadie is forced to kill Ellis.
  • Unfortunate Implications: Considering how guys tend to react to Ellis, perhaps 90% of Mexicans are Lolicon.
    • Age of consent is 12 in some states. Just sayin'.
    • The treatment of the two transvestite bounty hunters is...poor, to say the least.
      • It could be worse. They are never mocked for their homosexuality or effeminate behaviour, and they actually pose a genuine threat in their first appearance. They're just quirky antagonists among others.
