Dredd/Awesome
- The Action Prologue, where Dredd takes down a trio of criminals on the run. One of them takes a hostage; Dredd offers a sentence of life without parole if the perp surrenders, and when he is refused:
Dredd: Yeah, I heard you, hotshot.
Criminal: What?
Dredd: I said "hotshot".
- He shoots the criminal with a hotshot round that cooks his head, leaving no time for him to harm the hostage.
- Dredd and Anderson clearing the stairwell. Anderson is clearly a little nervous being quizzed on procedure by Dredd as Ma-Ma's goons close in from above and below, but she reads the situation perfectly. With the enclosed space, the correct response is to deploy gas grenades, which work exactly as intended -- the criminals are incapacitated, and the Judges make quick work of them.
- When addressing Ma-Ma and company after Anderson is kidnapped, Dredd delivers his iconic line. It's not the hammy "I AM the LAW!" of the first Judge Dredd movie -- rather, it's a calm, tranquilly furious statement of fact:
Dredd: Inhabitants of Peach Trees... this is Judge Dredd. In case you people have forgotten, this block operates under the same rules as the rest of the city. Ma-Ma is not the Law. I am the Law. Ma-Ma is a common criminal, guilty of murder, guilty of the manufacture and distribution of the narcotic known as Slo-Mo, and as of now, under sentence of death. Any who obstruct me in carrying out my duty will be treated as an accessory to her crimes. You have been warned. And as for you, Ma-Ma, judgement time."
- While he makes his warning many of Ma Ma's mooks show up at the communication booth he's supposedly in and open fire at a silhouette in the booth. They get scared that Dredd is still standing even though they unloaded on him. When they open the booth they find it's not Dredd, but one of their own tied up and gagged. Dredd later appears on a balcony across from them and says only one word "Incendiary" his gun fires what looks like a large projectile that splits into 1000 white hot flares that sets them all on fire while Dredd just stands their and watches them burn. We even get a cool shot of his helmet visor reflecting the flames. This later becomes a funny moment as during Ma Ma's fall in the climax, you can still see them running around in slo motion with severe burns all over them.
