• Hell Is That Noise: Many sounds in this game qualify. Notably the weird, sort of humming noise emitted by the aforementioned canine head that lives inside every tombstone in the world.
  • The music that plays when the constellations come to life would make me dread exploring at night.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • The monster grunts in the SNES port, thanks to the Game Grumps attempt at the Super Famicom version, and comparing it to JonTron's signature "ECHH".
  • "HAK HAK DRAKKHEN!", a Battle Cry yelled by some enemies is fairly well known by anyone who's heard of this game.
