Dostana/YMMV

  • Crowning Moment of Funny:
    • Sam's fake Flash Back to meeting Kunal in Venice.
    • Sam's mother song/imagine spot "Maa Da Laadla" (Lit. Momma's Boy ). The lyrics are about a mother wondering what she did wrong for her son to fancy men and thinking that he is going to take the place of the "bride"; the visuals are the woman imagining her son's wedding to Kunal, misinterpreting their physical closeness, trying to exorcize her son, and finally having a hallucination of Sam and Kunal being together from babyhood to old age until collapsing in the street, all of these while accompanied with a troupe of bright-dressed traditional dancers.
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming:
    • When Sam's mother accepts Kunal as her son-in-law.
    • Sam, Kunal and Neha's group hug on the beach.
    • "Thank you for making me gay."
  • Dude, Not Funny: Kunal tricking Sam into performing at a strip club.
  • Idiot Plot: Sam and Kunal seem to have no acquaintances in the city that would "out" them as heterosexual. It can be justified with Sam as he is a nurse and can have a very different social circle than the others, but Kunal is a professional photographer and his acquaintances could potentially overlap with staff of the fashion magazine Neha works for.
  • Non Sequitur Scene: The song Shut Up and Bounce probably exists to show off the personalities of Sam and Kunal. In that case, their personalities consist of brightly colored clothes and abs abs abs abs respectively.
