- The newest game in the Do Don Pachi series is Do Don Pachi Dai-Fukkatsu. "Dai-Fukkatsu" literally means "Great Resurrection". It's not only the revival of the series (it had been six years since dai ou jou, lit. "Peaceful Death"), but also a revival of Shoot Em Ups with more traditional military machinery for enemies and players, which at the time were being overshadowed by character-based shooters like Touhou and CAVE's own Mushihime-sama.
Fridge Horror
- The Fan Nickname for Do Don Pachi DaiFukkatsu Black Label's 360-exclusive Arrange Mode, a crossover of DaiFukkatsu and Ketsui, is "Ketsupachi". "Ketsu" in Japanese can mean "buttocks". So "Ketsupachi" means "Ass Bee".
