Deadpool (film)/Heartwarming

• Wade and Vanessa's relationship. They're not exactly a conventional lead couple, but Deadpool's not wrong when he describes the movie as a love story. (A very violent and explicit one, to be sure.) Some highlights (most of which are also Crowning Moments of Funny):
  • The proposal. Even though the ring is a Ring Pop, it's the thought that counts.
  • Wade's promise to find her in the next life, and play "Careless Whisper" by Wham! on a boombox. He delivers -- and he doesn't even have to die first!
  • Vanessa accepting Wade, face and all. "After an adjustment period...and a few drinks...that's a face I could learn to sit on."
