  • Forrest Kaysen in general shows an oddly big amount of this trope, having his own eerie music (do not watch, as it contains the name spoilered) certainly helps.
• The shown deaths of Becky, Diane, Thomas and Carol. It's hard to believe they exist in the same game that has a loveable dottering old lady running a grand hotel and a gas station attendant who loves talking to money.
• If York fails to destroy the hand trees in time, a cutscene plays where he succumbs to the fog and goes completely mad, complete with insane laughter.
