Hey, It's That Guy!:
- Julie is played by Frances McDormand.
- The first movie ends with Darkman turning into Bruce Campbell.
- Look really closely, and you'll see the car from the Evil Dead and Spider-Man movies being driven by Joel and Ethan Coen. ^[1]
- Rick is played by Ted Raimi, director Sam Raimi's brother. You may recognize him from the roughly 600 characters he played in the Evil Dead films, or as Joxer in Xena: Warrior Princess, or as Hoffman from Spider-Man.
- Lenny is Robert G. Durant.
- Who is Darkman? Qui-Gon IS Darkman!
  - Well, him or The Mummy. Appropriately enough.
Keep Circulating the Tapes: The abandoned TV Pilot.
The Other Darrin: Arnold Vosloo for Liam Neeson in the sequels, and Christopher Bowen in the TV Pilot. This is all somewhat justifiable, because it's Darkman.
- And if they'd only realized that, they wouldn't have tried to pull off a Flashback with the Other Darrin.
What Could Have Been: Raimi wanted Bruce Campbell to play Darkman in the first movie. After the studio made it clear they preferred a more well-known star, Gary Oldman and Bill Paxton were among those in the running.
- A TV series was in development, with an unaired 30-minute pilot completed.
