• The Houndmaster has a lot of heartwarming interactions with his hound. "A lawman and his faithful beast. A bond forged by battle and bloodshed."
  • His damage animation shows him protecting the hound with his body.
  • His 'Lick Wounds' (self-heal) animation shows him hugging the hound, while a 'happy panting' sound effect plays.
  • The "Therapy Dog" camping skill (stress-heal for the other party members) -- its icon shows a dog's paw patting a human hand, and when he uses the skill, he says "An affectionate nuzzle should put your hearts right."
  • The "Man's Best Friend" camping skill (self stress-heal) -- its icon shows him ruffling his dog's head, and when he uses the skill, he says "Whatever tomorrow brings, six legs are better than two!"
  • This one crosses with Tear Jerker: When facing instant death at the hands of the Heart of Darkness, he says "Steady, girl. If we're called, we answer."
