< Cupid
Cupid/YMMV
Both versions
- Fridge Brilliance: If Trevor is Cupid, Claire is Psyche, in a modern day setting, as his psychiatrist...which makes them an OTP in CONTEMPORARY TIMES.
1998 version
- Sending Stuff to Save the Show - letters were not enough to convince ABC to save the show.
- Tear Jerker
- Episode #7, "Pick Up Schticks" ... Trevor is tempted by a woman, but if he makes love to a mortal, he will lose his opportunity to return to Mount Olympus forever.
- Episode #8, "Heart of the Matter" ... which is also a Crowning Moment of Heartwarming.
- Too Good to Last - At least it got remade.
2009 version
- Tear Jerker - Several touching moments throughout the whole season.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks - A matter up for debate, which is why we're here. The original 1998 show took place in Chicago and Cupid's earth name was Trevor Hale which anagrammed to "Heart Lover". The 2009 show takes place in New York, and Cupid's earth name is now Trevor Pierce which fits in with the whole "archer of love" motif. The show has also changed the writing to suit a decade's change in socially accepted dialogue for television.
- Too Good to Last - the remake didn't even get half of the episodes of the original series.
