The Class of 3000
Sunny Bridges
Like... You gotta crank this thang up!
- The Ace
- Cool Teacher: Admit it, you'd love to have him as your teacher.
- Deal with the Devil: To get Li'l D out of his. Then he acts so bad, explaining that he had no soul in his work, and thus gets his soul back and saves both of them from the devil.
- I Just Want to Be Normal: To an extent: He goes back to teaching because he got tired of life as a music superstar and almost quits when a hoard of celebrities try to teach at the school.
- Magical Negro
- The Mentor
- Nice Hat: Nice straw hat, indeed.
- Team Dad: Especially seems this way to the fatherless Li'l D.
Li'l D
Let's crank dis thang up!
- Aesop Amnesia: Suffers from this out of everyone in the main cast.
- Book Dumb: Incredibly gifted when it comes to strategy and music... Regular school work, not so much.
- Disappeared Dad: Mentioned in the pilot episode that he never met his father. He doesn't seem to mind, though.
- Heroic Bastard: Possibly.
- The Hero
- I Just Want to Be Badass: He wants exactly what Sunny has and is willing to take the quick way out.
- Jerkass
- Took a Level In Kindness: At the end of the Christmas Episode. It didn't last long. It's implied that he is back to his normal self by the end.
- The Napoleon: Arguably.
- Nice Hat: His skipper's cap, usually. (The pilot and Christmas Episode give him something else)
- Noodle Incident: Used as a joke twice. First to show how the class always gets into situations, and a second time to saw just how naughty he has that year.
- Soul Brotha
Tamika Jones
Prove it or move it!
- The Big Girl
- Grumpy Bear
- Hidden Depths: Her house looks like something from Snow White and the only chores she's supposed to do is clean her room and do the lawn. The lawn is surprisingly clean and neat.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold
- Sassy Black Woman
- Took a Level In Kindness: In season 2.
- Tsundere: Sort of.
- Most of the Christmas Episode has her in full-blown "deredere" mode.
Kameron "Kam" Chin
- Butt Monkey: The one who's always picked on.
- Chew Toy: ... But we love him for it.
- Deadpan Snarker: Has shades of this.
- Goofy Print Underwear: As shown in "Mini Mentors" and "The Cure".
- Inscrutable Oriental: To an extent.
- Polar Opposite Twins: Compared to his twin sister, he's more serious to his work.
- The Smart Guy: One of two.
- Talking to Himself: Janice Kawaye also voices Kim.
- Those Two Guys: With Kim.
- Through the Eyes of Madness: Played for laughs when he gets overheated in "Study Buddies.
- Why Did It Have to Be Hang-Gliding Through Ducks?: He has an irrational fear of this and has to survive it in order to save his classmates.
Kimberley "Kim" Chin
- Catch Phrase: "I know, right?"
- The Chick: One of two.
- The Fashionista: She loves shopping and clothes.
- Fashionable Asymmetry: As seen in "Tamika and the Beast", her socks are mismatched.
- Polar Opposite Twins: Compared to her twin brother, she's more into clothing, shopping and arts.
- Inscrutable Oriental: Averted
- Only Sane Woman: Arguably the most normal and well-adjusted of the lot of them.
- Talking To Herself: Janice Kawaye also voices Kam.
- Those Two Guys: With Kam.
Phillip P. "Philly" Phil
- Amazingly Embarrassing Parents: Has them.
- Big Eater: It's toned down in Season 2, though.
- The Danza
- Genius Ditz
- Gadgeteer Genius: Can build machinery at the drop of a hat..
- Goggles Do Nothing: His were thought to be this, until "Brotha From the Third Rock" revealed that they're his glasses.
- The Smart Guy: One of two.
- Vocal Evolution: The early episodes gave him a higher, faster voice, and he appears to have an accent. In later episodes, his voice is lower, slower, and has lost its accent. Possibly Zig Zagged, as even later episodes have him switch between the two, or use a voice that sounds like the first two put together.
Edward "Eddie" Phillip James Lawrence III
- Fiction 500: He's somehow rich enough to have ten fingers (as Philly Phil notes when he sees his own eight).
- The Lancer
- Lovable Coward
- Overly Long Name
- Screw the Rules, I Have Money (and sometimes Screw the Money, I Have Rules)
- Stalker with a Crush: Arguably.
- Teens Are Short: Yep.
- Unrequited Love: Towards Tamika.
Madison Spaghettini Papadopoulus
- But Not Too Foreign
- The Chick: One of two.
- Cloudcuckoolander
- The Ditz
- Dumb Blonde: Though she's beyond just dumb.
- Friend to All Living Things
- Perpetual Smiler: So much.
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant: If the Nightmare Fuel for the show's page is any indicator...
