Chow Yun-fat
Chow Yun-fat is an actor and a native of Hong Kong. He came to that attention of Eastern audiences for his role in Heroic Bloodshed movies by director John Woo. He came to the attention of Western audiences after his role in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
He frequently played honorable Badasses in Asia, but is unfortunately typecast into stereotypically "Asian" roles in Hollywood films.
