Charli XCX
Charlotte Emma Aitchison (born 2 August 1992), better known by her stage name Charli XCX, is a British singer and songwriter. She released her debut single independently in 2008 and initially performed at warehouse raves in London.
She became widely known through two number one singles, Icona Pop's "I Love It" (2013) and Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" (2014); both of which she co-wrote, and for which she also provided co-lead vocals. Her 2014 single "Boom Clap" from the soundtrack album of The Fault in Our Stars became a top ten single in a number of countries.
She is also known for collaborating with Bubblegum Bass producers SOPHIE and A. G. Cook on Vroom Vroom, Number 1 Angel and Pop 2, playing with the eccentric genre on a mainstream level.
