Challengers/Characters
All names are in the Japanese format (surnames first) since surnames are generally the names characters are known by. That's with the exception of Tomoe and Souichi, since they're family members and calling them both Tatsumi would be confusing.
Tatsumi Tomoe
Our protagonist, he's a supremely clever roboticist who's completely unable of living in the real world.
Kurokawa Mitsugu
Tomoe's landlord, and eventual lover.
Isogai Taichirou
Kurokawa's best friend, and the only straight main character, he's one of the funniest cast members.
Tatsumi Souichi
Tomoe's protective big brother, he's working towards his PHD at the university.
Reiko Hino
Kurokawa's mother has been married four times and is always coming up with crazy schemes that surprise even her son.
Morinaga Tetsuhiro
Souichi's lab assistant.
Rick (Richard Coldman)
An American foreign exchange student who was the first member of Tomoe's club, he's openly gay and has his eye on Tomoe.
Phil
Rick's stalker who followed him all the way from America.
Tatsumi Kanako
Tomoe's ever-cheerful sister.
