Centennial/Characters
The story of Centennial spans from the mid-1700's to 1978. As such, many characters are introduced, developed and killed off during this generational saga. This page will be discussing the characters as seen in the miniseries.
- Lame Beaver
- Played by Michael Ansara
- A great warrior of the Arapaho Indian tribe, gaining fame after many successful coups and single-handedly obtaining a herd of horses. He is the father of Clay Basket.[1]
- Pasquinel
- Played by Robert Conrad
- A fur trader from Quebec, Pasquinel would come face to face with many of the Indian tribes in the-then unexplored area of the Rocky Mountains, and later would befriend Lame Beaver.[2]
- Alexander McKeag
- Played by Richard Chamberlain
- This Scottish-born man is also a fur trader and trapper, and he would become fast friends with Pasquinel after he is saved from captivity by the Pawnee.[3]
