Cafe FX
Cafe FX (formerly known as The Computer Cafe) was an effects studio located in Santa Maria, California. First established in 1993 by Jeff Barnes and David Ebner, the company (like several others) started off providing effects for television. In 1995, they received their film project in Clive Barker's Lord of Illusions. Since then, they've provided effects for more than fifty films and several commercials.
They sadly shut down operations in 2010, citing the recession and poor economy as the reasons. Shame really, considering their studio actually looked like a good place to be (it contained two bowling lanes, game areas, a large field and even an actual café).
