• The way some tropers use this trope bugs me. People seem to include it on any female who is tomboyish, even if they've shown interest in men within the work. It seems to imply that if a girl doesn't act like a girl, of course she's a lesbian. What up with that?

• What's with the alt title? Rolls her own tampons? Is that a British-ism or something?

  • I'm guessing it has to do with a comparison to rolling a cigar. Just smoking one is badass enough, but rolling one makes you manly. Therefore, a woman who makes her own tampons is a Badass. It's also apparently an old joke along these lines.
    • Yes, however, contrary to popular belief, a woman doesn't have to be a Butch Lesbian to be badass. She can be an Action Girl, Action Mom, Lady of War, or Hot Amazon. Actually, all Action Girl subtropes count as Badass women.
