A community dedicated to discussions of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and Wonderfalls with humor, intelligence and obsessiveness.

In April 2004, a thread in that site prompted a fellow calling himself "Webmonkey Gus" to set up a small wiki about plot devices on a humble 386 computer with a DSL connection. That wiki later became TV Tropes, the direct ancestor of this site.
