Bridesmaids/YMMV
- Alternate Character Interpretation: Officer Rhodes. At the best, wooing a girl by getting her to bake for you makes you a schmuck. At worst, it can be read as pretty douche-y. However he's portrayed as though it is the perfect romantic move to sweep a girl off her feet.
- Then again, it might just be him trying to get her to bake, period. He believes it's her calling in life. It's also possibly his way of both attempting to bond with her and trying to shake her out of her self-loathing rut by getting her to do something she loves and enjoys with him, not for him.
- Crazy Awesome: Megan
- Crowning Moment of Awesome: Annie's crazy fit at the bridal shower... up until she runs outside and starts punching the cookie.
- Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: Annie and Helen finally become friends and Annie invites Helen to hang out with her and Lillian later on.
- Ensemble Darkhorse: Megan. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for a reason.
- Girl Show Ghetto: General consensus is that this was averted.
- Jerkass Woobie: Annie
- Moe: Becca. But seeing as she's played by Ellie Kemper, this should be expected.
- Role Association: Where to begin? Two SNL alums are best friends. One of them is with Don Draper while figuring out Roy, who left IT and became a cop. She's also rooming with Tweedledee and Tweedledum. The bridesmaids are Officer Clementine Johnson, Erin, Molly/Sookie, and Moira MacTaggert.
- Jackie Q!
- Ellen Parsons!
- The late Hily Burns is Annie's mother!
- The Target Denim Song guy is not really is an air marshall!
- Squick: The scene in the bridal shop.
- Also Megan and Air Marshal John's sex scene.
- Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist: Even though most of what's happening to Annie isn't her fault, some of her reactions just make her look like a jerk, including her behaviour towards Rhodes.
