• All-Star Cast/Hey, It's That Voice!: There's Hagrid, Molly, Trelawney, and the Gray Lady as the main character, plus Gant and Gobber.
  • Llewelyn Moss's wife has apparently taken a level in badass.
  • And Soap MacTavish narrates the teaser trailer.
  • As part of Pixar tradition, John Ratzenberger will be lending his voice to a guard.
• Avoid the Dreaded G Rating: The movie has been rated PG because of "some scary action and rude humor". It's also the the third Pixar movie with a PG rating; the first was The Incredibles, and the second was Up.
• Fake Scot: Averted for the most part, with the exception of John Ratzenberger, of course.
• Talking to Himself: Kevin McKidd will be voicing both Lord MacGuffin and Young MacGuffin.
• The Other Marty: Reese Witherspoon was originally cast in the lead but was replaced during recording with Kelly Macdonald.
• What Could Have Been: Much of the film was originally to be set during the winter, with snow being the big technical challenge for the film. But when Brenda Chapman left the project, so did the weather.
• Working Title: The Bear And The Bow.
