    • Made even worse when you realize that his school's name is "Butterside Downs Elementary", referring to the idiom "Buttered toast always lands butter side down." Poor Rittz has got to be the unluckiest kid around.
    • This early strip gets a so much worse after reading little Rittz's arc.
  • This old filler strip is absolutely hilarious when you first read it. Then you read this much later strip and it absolutely kicks you in the balls.
• The Woobie: What started out as a simple joke about revealing that Rittz was ridiculously, hilariously fat as a kid immediately afterward makes you feel bad for laughing.
  • Just look at those eyes...
    • Also, Charlie ("Gay Chuck"). Everyone rips on him but he's the nicest guy in the comic and insanely forgiving.
