Bleached Underpants/Playing With

  • Basic Trope: Hmmm...I do believe I saw a porno featuring those characters once...
  • Played Straight: Although considerably less racy than the material it's based off of, there is still quite a lot of Fan Service to be had for the viewers of Series X.
  • Exaggerated:
    • Series X is basically softcore porn, and/or Porn with Plot.
    • Series X has virtually no Fan Service whatsoever, whereas the original material is pornography
  • Inverted: A pornographic film/game/book/comic is based off a perfectly innocuous work and/or features the same characters or character designs.
  • Justified:
    • Hey, every great artist or writer had to start somewhere, right?
    • The artist (especially common with Comic Book and Manga artists) doesn't want to come up with new character designs, and so recycles the ones from his/her earlier "adult" works.
  • Subverted: Although based off a Dating Sim, it's still perfectly acceptable for a younger audience.
  • Double Subverted: Has some elements of What Do You Mean It's for Kids? and/or Getting Crap Past the Radar.
  • Deconstructed:
  • Reconstructed:
  • Parodied: Alice and Bob just had sex on a table in a porn film. They then go back to their dressing rooms...and a Dom Com completely unrelated to the porn movie is filmed at the very same table, with the very same camera, with Alice and Bob. (Bonus Points if nothing was cleaned off in between, or if by "cleaned off", they mean "wiped quickly and half-assedly with a dirty old rag."
  • Lampshaded: "Hey, Alice, didn't I see you in a porno once?"
  • Averted: The author never once dabbled in the creation of adult works.
  • Enforced:
    • "I think it's time to broaden my creative horizons."
    • "Porn just isn't bringing in enough money these days, what with the Internet and the Moral Guardians."
    • "I want to make something I can show to my kids without scarring them for life or getting sent to Prison."
  • Invoked: The author of racy Bodice Ripper novels has always wanted to write a children's book, and decides that she might as well do it now.
  • Defied: The author doesn't want sales of her children's book to be marred by associations with her raunchier adult novels, and so decides against writing it.
  • Discussed:
  • Conversed:
  • Played For Laughs:
  • Played For Drama: The character used to be a porn star, and now regards it as an Old Shame.
