Barbie as Rapunzel/YMMV

• Complete Monster: Gothel is not only a complete bitch to Rapunzel, but started a (albeit, implied to be bloodless) feud between two countries because her boyfriend dumped her
• Older Than You Think: Possibly, a lot of details used in Tangled, Disney's adaption of Rapunzel, appeared in this movie, most notably having Rapunzel be a painter and a kidnapped princess, and some of the costume designs.
  • The movie itself is not Barbie's first crack at the story; aside from various picture books and dolls, there was notably a CD rom game adapting the story from the 90's.
