- No Export for You: The original game did not come out in Japan, but the NES and Gameboy Color Ports are exclusive to Japan.
- Remade for the Export: Inverted. The original Game Boy version came out first, but only in the western market. A Famicom port was released a few years after, but with a Hello Kitty license thrown in. It was until a whole decade later that the original Game Boy game got a proper Japanese release in the form of a colorized version. It never came to the US or anywhere else.
