• The Character Died with Him: Chris Hughes(Sr.), Nancy Hughes, Hal Munson.
• Defictionalization: The Man From Oakdale, which credits Henry as co-author.
• Fake Nationality: Vienna is Swedish, but played by a Norwegian actress.
• Hey, It's That Guy!: Voice actor David Matranga has a cameo as a desk clerk 17 minutes into this episode.
• Hey, It's That Voice!: Dr. Hendricks is Otacon.
• I Knew It!: Many suspected Reid was going to be gay and a possible love interest for Luke long before it was revealed.
  • When news of Reid's death was leaked and Chris was revealed to have a heart condition, many speculated that his heart would be donated to Chris, which is exactly what happened.
• McLeaned: Brad was killed off when the last actor playing his was released from his contract.
• Missing Episode: Many of the early episodes don't exist because were destroyed in a fire.
• The Other Darrin: Many characters had more than one actor playing them. In his last appearance, Adam's excuse was having had Magic Plastic Surgery.
• Romance on the Set: Teri Conn (Katie) and Austin Peck (Brad).
• Typecasting: Averted in a strange way by former co-star Brian Bloom--he does not list the Daytime Emmy he won for this show to avoid being typecast as a soap star.
