Aria (manga)/Funny

  • President Hime realizing just who the "handsome masked cat" really is.
  • Any time Aika is startled and screams loud enough to send the birds scattering. It happens twice within minutes in one episode of The Natural.
  • President Aria went into an Alternate Universe of Aria. Everyone is genderswapped, but retained their original voice actors, even the guys. One might find it funny with the genderswapped Akatsuki and Woody.
  • When Cait Sith stamps Akari and President Aria's foreheads.
  • In childhood, Akatsuki met Alicia and Akira, and thought Akira was a really cool slightly older boy. He's shocked to learn that "tha-that-that manly bro from the past ... has turned into a slim, fabulous boy in drag!" She glares at him: "I've always been 100% authentic female!"
  • Alice can't believe Alicia never gets angry, so she begins watching her for at least a flash of temper (her lame excuses for spying around the Aria Company building in the anime are particularly funny). When Alicia talks to her about it at a cafĂ© table, the younger girl envisions Alicia as a version of the Buddha, with "Ara ara" inscribed on one upraised palm (and a giggle printed on the other), announcing, "Bad girls trying to dig up dirt on others should be punished!"
  • In the second episode (and 14th Aria manga chapter) Akira declares Alicia's "Ara ara" and giggling are not allowed. Naturally, Alicia doesn't stop doing either. Forbid "Ara ara" and she giggles; forbid giggling and she says "Ara ara." Akira begins chasing Alicia around the building, and in the anime she's shouting, "Kinshi! Kinshi!" over and over.
  • Akatsuki just discovered that his horoscope indicates he's in love with Akari. He refuses to accept this, telling Akari, "Don't touch me, you'll create children!" You Fail Biology Forever, Akatsuki-san, if you think she'll create your children without your help. Of course, this is the lad who, when he was six, thought he was an android....
