Arcane Advent
Arcane Advent is a new Urban Fantasy series of media that covers the life of mages--people who can manipulate the world through the use of Magick--with the first Trilogy centered around a Runic Mage named Leidolf. The series begins with the destruction of a city under a crimson moon. Through constant battles against Familiars, he rescues the only other living survivor and sets off to end the nightmare.
The second volume, has been released and picks up where the first left off.

- Abnormal Ammo: Leidolf's master used enchanted revolvers that fired glass-like bullets filled with crushed stones.
- A Child Shall Lead Them: The Leader of Hollow is a young girl who inherited the position after her father's death.
- Altum Videtur: Members of the Church use Latin for their arts.
- An Ice Person: Leidolf actually has an Ice-Darkness affinity. He couldn't use it until after he gained the grimoire.
- Blood Magic: Leidolf's magick style uses his to link and enchant objects and talismans.

- Cool Sword: Tyrfing--not that one, but a modified replica--which can use the Sword Beam.

- Telepathy: The Supervisor is a Lectormens which is basically the Superpower Lottery of mental abilities and difficult to master, but she's a prodigy for her skill in it. She uses them to surf through Leidolf's Memories, pull his consciousness from the grimoire's influence, and set up mental blocks to help him fight the influence. She practices Mind Over Manners but Leidolf still has trust issues from their initial encounter, although he lightens up after some time passes.
- Tome of Eldritch Lore: Grdskinn, a grimoire written by Galdra-Louptur it is an amalgam of negative and dark powers and spells, capable of raising the dead among other things.
- Trying to Catch Me Fighting Dirty: Leidolf's fighting tactics.
- A Handful for an Eye: He does this to a wolf trying to claw him.
- Blinded by the Light: Against the Guardian of Wind
- Combat Pragmatist: Leidolf will fight dirty as hell, especially if he's defending someone else. As he puts it, at the end of the day he'll still be the one alive.
