Arachnophobia/YMMV
- Non Sequitur Scene: The inexplicable scene in which a doll comes to life and watches a spider land on its face. Explanation, please?
- Nightmare Fuel: The game over screen for the game adaptation. A picture is displayed of your character where he's basically been overrun by spiders, and has webs in his nose. It's pretty freaky as a kid.

- One has to wonder if anyone ever picked up a copy of the film with the spider-version and completely smashed the offending piece of plastic in a panic, thinking it was a real spider.

- Paranoia Fuel: You'll probably be checking every nook in your house for spiders after watching this.
