• Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch: A lot of the people praising or condemning the film haven't seen it.
• Confirmation Bias
• Crowning Moment of Awesome: Depending on who you talk to. A large quantity of Democrats will say that this is a CMOA for Al Gore and the movement to combat climate change. On the other hand, it's a very risky subject to bring up around Republicans.
• Documentary of Lies: Again, depending on who you talk to.
  • Some of the documentaries "refuting" it have been called this by both sides, sometimes with misrepresentation and sometimes with blatant falsehoods.
