Alpha and Omega (film)/Characters
Humphrey:
- Adorkable
- All Men Are Perverts: Humphrey looked really excited after hearing about repopulating.
- Anguished Declaration of Love: After Kate is seemingly killed in a stampede, he, heartbroken, tells her he loves her and howls in her memory along side both packs. It was a Disney Death, but still, it's a rather emotional scene.
- Blue Eyes
- Butt Monkey
- Comic Relief
- Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass
- Disney Death
- Fun Personified
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy
- Jealous Guy: Possibly.
- The Hero: Of the omegas.
- Large Ham: He may not be one vocally but action-wise, whoa is he ever.
- Man Child: Has signs of this.
- Nice Guy
- Plucky Comic Relief: Not just for the movie, but plays this role in the pack. He uses his nack for comedy to ease tensions and break up fights, something his valued for being able to do.
- Potty Emergency
- Tuck and Cover: During the stampede at the end, he jumps on the unconscious Kate to protect her from further harm. This also convinces her father to let them mate.
- Victorious Childhood Friend
- Wacky Guy
Kate:
- Action Girl
- Badass
- Child Marriage Veto: She backs out of marrying Garth at the last minute and announces she's in love with Humphrey. Thankfully, Garth felt the exact same way and had fallen for her sister. Sure it took a Disney Death on Kate's part to get it accepted, but still counts.
- Cool Big Sis
- Deadpan Snarker: Only in her serious state.
- Disney Death: An important one that resolves the climax of the film.
- Eyes of Gold
- Ms. Fanservice: Her hair flipping scene causes her to be one.
- Only Sane Man: Sometimes.
- Small Name, Big Ego: She thinks of herself as the greatest and most responsible alpha wolf and seems to point out the flaws of others, most notably Humphrey.
- The Smart Guy: Of the Alphas.
Garth:
- Bishounen
- Character Development: Garth starts off Jerk Jock that thinks he's perfect. But he gradually grows into a more caring character who accepts and tries to fix his faults, even if he needs help from an Omega to do it.
- Child Marriage Veto: After Kate backs out and admits she loves Humphrey, Garth decides to veto the marriage as well by admitting he's in love with Lilly.
- Dreadful Musician: A Running Gag is his howling knocks out birds until the end were Lilly's training fixes it.
- Green Eyes
- Jerk Jock: To Humphrey.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: At first he appears to be a shallow jock, but after Lilly is nice to him, he shows there's more to him than that.
- Missing Mom
- Real Men Wear Pink
Lilly:
- Beautiful All Along: After Garth brushes away her Peek-a-Bangs, he tells her how beautiful her eyes are.
- Character Development: She starts off as a Shrinking Violet, but while she's helpping Garth with his development, he shows her she's Beautiful All Along. After that she's far more confedient.
- The Cutie
- Dojikko
- Peek-a-Bangs
- Purple Eyes
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: Hi there!
- Shrinking Violet: With Garth being the one who build up her confidence.
- The Ditz
Winston:
- Badass
- Cool Old Guy
- Papa Wolf: Literally and metaphorically.
Tony:
- Appeal to Tradition: His justification for the Arranged Marriage as the only way to merge the packs. While that time it's not that bad, later, he declares war because Garth has fallen in love with Lilly and 'an Alpha and Omega can't mate'. He eventually decides to change after his stubborn actions nearly got himself, Winston, and Kate killed. Oh, and Eve 'helps' bring him around a bit too. Even he knows making her mad isn't a bright idea.
- Big Bad: Well as close to one as this movie has. He's the main antagonist of the film because he insists on the Arranged Marriage as the only way to merge the pack and is threatening to declare war if it doesn't happen. He eventually does when he finds out Garth has fallen for Lilly.
- Evil Redhead: Not so much in the way that he's evil, but acts more like the antagonist. He also has, at least in some views, red fur or brown fur.
- Jerkass
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Kate's Disney Death showed signs of this.
- Well-Intentioned Extremist: Wants to merge the packs so his own won't starve but is so stubbornly attached to his Appeal to Tradition he's willing to declare war if the merger isn't done by Arranged Marriage.
- What Have I Done: After his actions directly result in Kate's presumed death, the look on his face can only be described as this.
Eve:
- Ax Crazy: Possibly.
- Badass
- Berserk Button: Whatever you do, do NOT harm any of her daughters unless you want to risk having one of your body parts ripped off and shoved down your throat.
- Actually, the first time it was just a member of her pack, so even that carries a risk or grevious bodily harm.
- Beware the Nice Ones
- Blood Knight: Possibly.
- Cloudcuckoolander
- Cute and Psycho
- Cut His Heart Out with a Spoon: She's got a love of threatening people who threaten her pack or daughters with painful deaths...the first two being in a calmly happy voice...
- Eyes of Gold
- Large Ham
- Mama Bear:
Eve: If any of you wolves have hurt my daughter, I will personally RIP out your eyes, and SHOVE them down your throat so you can see my claws TEAR YOUR CARCASS OPEN!
- Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant
- OOC Is Serious Business: Her first two threats are given in a happy tone. After her daughter vanishes, her giving her threat in an angry and serious manner shows just how big of a Mama Bear she really is.
- Stepford Smiler
- Team Mom
Shakey:
- Adorably Precocious Child: Possibly.
- Adorkable
- Ambiguously Gay
- Camp Straight: Apparently, he likes hanging around girl wolves. Then again, he could be a Camp Gay or Bi.
- The Lancer: Of the omegas.
- Plucky Comic Relief
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: He may give even Lilly a run for her money
- Tender Tears: He always cries at weddings.

- Fat Idiot: A rather lovable version of the trope.
- Plucky Comic Relief
Reba and Janice:
- The Chicks: Of the omegas.
- Granola Girl
Marcel:
- Cheese-Eating Surrender Monkeys: Averted. He did not go down without a fight.
- Running Gag:
Marcel: This is not a lie. This is not a lie if you are french.
Paddy: Well, technically French-Canadian.
Paddy:
- British Stuffiness: His initial refusal of the hug, even though he later admitted he enjoyed it. Then again, it was Kate, so....what do you expect?
- The Jeeves: very much so.
Hutch:
- Flat Character: All we know about him is he is Winston's second in command.
- The Lancer: Hutch could be considered this to Winston.
- Number Two: Hutch is sort of this. As the above troper said, he is Winston's second-in-command.
Can-Do:
- Flat Character
- Hair-Trigger Temper
- Meaningful Name
- Sacrificial Lamb: Non-fatal version but after he gets injured, he is almost never mentioned again.
