A Serbian Film/Trivia
- The film holds a record of 19 minutes of cuts in the United States in order to achieve an NC-17 rating, and it took almost two years to get the uncut version shown in the states legally. (Prior to that, the only way to watch it uncut was through film festivals or a leaked screener copy around the time of the film's South by Southwest premiere)
- Banned in over 46 countries, including Norway and Brazil (overturned in 2012).
- A Serbian Film was momentarily removed from TV Tropes altogether after the site's new content policies were implemented in 2012. Although the TVT entry has since been "restored," the page as it currently exists is little more than a description stub and is permanently locked.
