- Funny Moments: Many despite the amount of serious content. Highlights include Juan's stripping his recently robbed victims naked and finding out he'd been conned into becoming a "glorious hero of the revolution" by Mallory.
- Heartwarming Moments: Juan may be an amoral outlaw but he often shows he loves his family.
- Moment of Awesome: The Bridge at San Hoglay. John saving Juan from the firing squad. The entire Mese Verde Bank scene.
- Tear Jerker: The discovery that Juan's entire band of outlaws, including all of his sons, have been brutally massacred. And of course John's death.
