US Airways fleet

US Airways operated a predominantly Airbus fleet, with some older Boeing aircraft and a small fleet of Embraer jets.

On April 8, 2015, when a Single Operating Certificate was awarded by the Federal Aviation Administration, all airframes in the US Airways fleet were transferred to American Airlines.[1] As of that date, the US Airways fleet consisted of the following aircraft:[2][3][4]

BAC One-Eleven 1989 Boeing 737 and US Airways Express fleet Some BAC One-Eleven aircraft were formerly operated by Mohawk Airlines and were obtained via the merger of this air carrier with Allegheny Airlines. Other BAC One-Eleven aircraft were purchased used by Allegheny to augment the inherited Mohawk fleet.
