The will have a design speed of 350 kilometres per hour (220 mph).

History

On June 29, 2020, the feasibility study for the section from Weifang to Yantai was approved.[1] Details on the section of the railway from Binhai to Weifang were released on 31 July 2020.[2]

Route

Between Weifang North and Chiayi South, the route shares the line with the Weifang–Laixi high-speed railway.
