Evans earned a call-up to the Wales U20 squad for the 2016 Junior Six Nations, where he scored three tries in 5 games. He earned another call-up for the Junior World Championships, where he made a further three appearances.[1]

Evans earned his first professional contract with the Scarlets in 2016.[2] However, he is yet to make an appearance for them, due to competition from the likes of John Barclay, James Davies and Will Boyde.
