Merit (TV channel)

Merit is a British lifestyle TV channel owned by ITV plc.[1] It launched on 29 July 2020 (delayed from 8 July),[2] exclusively on Freeview (to viewers only with access to all Freeview and Freeview HD channels and YouView viewers within areas of Freeview coverage).[3]

Broadcasting

The channel broadcasts three hours daily from 9pm to midnight on the former ITV3+1 Freeview channel slot (with ITV3+1 being moved to channel 58).[4] It runs no advertisements.[5]

On 28 July 2020, an editor for the site TV Channel Lists noticed Merit was broadcasting after CITV on the unaired/testing channel named "ITVi Stream44" on Astra 28.2°E.[6]

  • 10:15pm: Callie-Anne Cooks into the Wild
