Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum

The Melaka Sultanate Palace Museum (Malay: Muzium Istana Kesultanan Melaka) is a museum located in Melaka City, Melaka, Malaysia. The building is a modern reconstruction of the palace of the Melaka Sultanate. It showcases the history of the region.

History

The museum building was constructed in 1984 and became a cultural museum. The museum was officially opened on 17 July 1986 by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.[1]

The museum opens every day from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.[2]
