American Airlines fleet

American Airlines operates 874 aircraft, giving it the largest commercial airline fleet in the US. It primarily operates a mix of Airbus and Boeing narrow-body and wide-body aircraft. American is currently in the process of the largest fleet renewal in its history, with over 200 aircraft remaining on order from Airbus and Boeing.

Current fleet

American is the largest operator of the Airbus A320 family in the world.[1][n 1] It operates the largest fleet of A321 and A319 aircraft in the world.
